Why Diffuse Essential Oils?

3) Help in weight management.
4) Improve concentration, alertness and mental clarity
Diffusing is a perfect way to improve your home, work or study environment

What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy means to treat with aroma through inhalation.
It is well known that aroma reaches and influences the deepest human instinct.
When essential oils are diffused and inhaled, aromatherapy not only delivers
the calming benefits of fragrance, it also delivers the many health benefits
unique to essential oils.
It has been theorized that when essential oils are diffused, they can increase
atmospheric oxygen by releasing oxygenating molecules in the air. Not only
do they increase oxygen in the atmosphere, essential oils increase the body's
ability to transport oxygen into the cells. The lipid -soluble structure of
essential oils allows them to easily pass through cell membranes in the nose
and diffuse into the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream, the oils can help
transport oxygen and nutrients into the cells. One of the causes of disease
in both plants and humans is the inability of nutrients to penetrate the cell.
This results in cell deterioration, leads to mutation, and creates a host
for bacteria and disease.
Oils also increase ozone and negative ions, which inhibit bacterial growth.
This prevents and destroys odors from mold, cigarettes, animals, etc. Diffused
essential oils work as an outstanding air filtration system, helping to remove
dust particles from the air.

Diffuse oils, such as Joy, Peace and Calming, or Lavender, for their calming and
emotionally balancing effects. |
The olfactory membranes are very tiny and
well protected by the lining of the nose. They contain
about 800 million nerve endings that receive the micro fine, vaporized oil
particles, carry them along the axon of the nerve fibers, and connect them
with the secondary neurons in the olfactory sensory center at the base of
the brain. They next pass between the pituitary and pineal gland and move
to the amygdala, which is the memory center for fear and trauma.
The Nebulizing Diffuser is designed to disperse a micro-fine
mist of therapeutic-grade essential oil into the atmosphere of the home or
office. It is important to use a cold air diffuser to avoid damaging the fragile
essential oil. The oils remain most effective if they are not heated as they
are diffused. Our diffuser is easy to assemble and clean and uses a special
anodized aircraft quality aluminum oil well that has passed through a process
similar to ceramic coating, which makes cleaning easy and prevents oils from
coming in contact with metal. Oil is forced through an air jet by a pump to
atomize it into a micro-fine mist. It passes through a glass nebulizer, helping
it disperse quickly and evenly throughout the room.
Using The Nebulizing Diffuser
American Aromatherapy Nebulizing Diffusers may be used for any length of time desired from 5 minutes per hour or on a continuous basis for 2 to 3 hours. However, short periods of time, such as 5 to 15 minutes per hour are recommended for those just beginning to use the oils. Our diffusers can be left on indefinatly without harming the unit. With several of our Diffusers the pump can be set on the floor or under an end table out of sight. Our Nebulizing Diffusers are easily connected to our Aroma-Timer which allows it to turn on and off automatically.
Large Commercial Areas:
Turn your diffuser on for 15 to 30 minutes every 2 hours until everyone in
the area becomes acquainted with the oils. at witch point it may be left running
continuously.
Oil Viscosity:
Different oils have different viscosity or thickness and therefore diffuse
at different speeds. Blends such as Valor, Joy, Harmony, Endo Flex, Awaken,
3 Wise Men and Single oils such as Sandalwood, Myrrh, Patchouly, etc., have
a much thicker viscosity and therefore diffuse more slowly and create more
noise in the diffuser. For example, to diffuse one bottle of Valor could take
up to 48 hours or longer with the pump running continuously on high volume,
which is unnecessary. Thinner Blends such as Citrus Fresh, Peace and Calming,
R.C., Purification, Abundance, ImmuPower, and single oils such as Lavender,
Orange, and Lemon are thinner oils and diffuse very quickly. For example,
a bottle of Citrus Fresh will diffuse within eight hours. A bottle of thicker
oil can be left upside down in the well as it will diffuse slowly. However,
with thinner oils, it would be better to put the desired amount of oil into
the well so as not to use the entire bottle
Changing Oils:
Diffusing a variety of oil blends is an enjoyable way to discover your favorite
ones. When changing from one single oil or blend to another, simply let all
the oil in the well be diffused. Then add a little of the next oil, let it
diffuse until empty and then add the amount you want. If there is too much
oil left to diffuse, use an eyedropper to remove the excess from the well
and put it back into the bottle.
Mixing Oils:
Do not mix the blends as you may change the desired results. However, a single
oil may be added to a blend or two single oils may be mixed together and diffused.
V-6 Mixing & Massage Oils:
DO NOT diffuse these products as they are too heavy and thick and will clog
the diffuser. Other examples include Ortho Ease, Sensation, Relaxation, Cel-Lite
Magic, Dragon Time or any other vegetable-based product.
Diffuse oils, such as Peppermint or Clarity, for their stimulating, invigorating
effects. Essential oils diffused in the classrooms have been widely researched
for their ability to improve accuracy and memory. |
Diffuse oils, such as Purification or Lemon to purify the air and neutralize mildew,
cigarette smoke, or other disagreeable odors. |
